Manny Pacquiao makes his return to the boxing ring on Saturday after a brief retirement when he takes on Jessie Vargas for the WBO welterweight title.

Pacquiao's "retirement" was shorter than the layoff some active fighters take between bouts, but Pacquiao is making sure everyone he knows gets a chance to see him fight. The Filipino superstar told TMZ Sports that he purchased 2,000 tickets for his family and friends for Saturday's fight.

The cost of those 2,000 tickets? According to Pacquiao, over $1 million.

That's a lot of money to drop on tickets, but Pacquiao will make more than enough on this fight to cover that one million dollar price tag and make it not feel too painful. We can be sure that Pacquiao will have plenty of support in the ring at the Thomas & Mack Center on Saturday night when more than 10 percent of the tickets sold were purchased by him for his friends and family.
