On Sunday, December 12th, from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m., (3:00 - 4:00 p.m ET in late NFL markets) CBS Sports will broadcast the "Merrill Lynch Celebrity Ski Classic". The 1- hour program will showcase former Olympic skiers and television and film celebrities fundraising for the aspiring athletes.
The Deer Valley event includes giant slalom races to take place at Birdseye ski run. Former Olympic skiers will be paired with celebrities for a variety of ski events, live music, and fundraising. All proceeds will benefit the U.S. Ski Team. The public is welcome to observe the ski racing portion of the event.
