CBS Sports to feature top three college hoops team in nation
CBS SPORTS’ COLLEGE BASKETBALL FEATURES TOP THREE TEAMS IN NATION AND SEVEN OF TOP 20 ON SATURDAY, FEB. 24 AND SUNDAY, FEB. 25
No. 1 Ohio State and No. 2 Wisconsin Battle in Big Ten and SEC Showdown with No. 3 Florida at LSU Highlight Weekend’s Action
The nation’s three best teams take the court as CBS Sports’ ROAD TO THE FINAL FOUR continues on Saturday Feb. 24 and Sunday, Feb. 25 (12:00 Noon-6:00 PM, ET; both days). Saturday’s action features a national tripleheader beginning with Oklahoma State at Texas Tech (12:00 NOON, ET) followed by the Big East’s top two teams as *No. 8-ranked Pittsburgh plays *No. 12-ranked Georgetown (2:00 PM, ET) and an SEC showdown concludes the day when *No. 3-ranked Florida takes on LSU (4:00 PM, ET).
Sunday’s tripleheader tips-off with a national broadcast featuring Louisville at Connecticut (12:00 NOON, ET). Regional action follows with *No. 17-ranked Duke visiting St. John’s and Houston at No. 7-ranked Memphis (2:00 PM, ET). The weekend’s action wraps up with a Big Ten battle featuring the nation’s top two ranked teams as *No. 2-ranked Wisconsin plays at *No. 1-ranked Ohio State. All contests will be broadcast in HDTV.
The meeting between Ohio State, which is ranked No. 1 in the Coaches Poll and Wisconsin, the No. 1-ranked team in the AP poll, marks the first time that two No. 1-ranked teams have met during the regular-season.
