Selig to make first appearance on Late Show
Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig makes his first visit to CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman," Monday, July 14
NEW YORK, July 7 -- Bud Selig, Commissioner of Major League Baseball, will make his first visit to the "Late Show with David Letterman," Monday, July 14 (11:35 p.m.-12:37 a.m., ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Commissioner Selig will be in New York City for Major League Baseball's 79th All-Star Game, which will be played the next day, Tuesday, July 15, at Yankee Stadium. This year's game holds significance as it will mark the fourth and final time the All-Star Game will be held at the old Yankee Stadium -- the new home of the Bronx Bombers is set to open in April 2009. Also visiting Monday's Late Show will be actor Pierce Brosnan and musician Jason Mraz. The Late Show is a production of Worldwide Pants Incorporated. Barbara Gaines, Maria Pope, Jude Brennan and Rob Burnett are the executive producers.
