CBS Sports broadcasts the women's final of the Olympus U.S. Open Series "Pilot Pen Tennis," the final tournament of the U.S. Open Series, on Saturday, Aug. 23 (1-3 p.m., ET). Dinara Safina has secured the women's 2008 U.S. Open Series title, second and third place will be determined this weekend
The U.S. Open Series, which leads up to the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, was launched in 2004 in order to create a cohesive, six-week summer tennis season for ATP and WTA Tour professional tournaments in North America. The top three finishers of the series will be vying for bonus prize money at the U.S. Open Tennis Championships.
CBS Sports' coverage of the 2008 U.S. Open Tennis Championships begins on Saturday, August 30 (11 a.m.-6 p.m., ET) with men's and women's third-round action and concludes with the men’s singles final 13 days later on Sunday, Sept. 7 (4:00-7:00 PM, ET).
