SUNDAY’S "NFL TODAY" FEATURES GREG GUMBEL VISITING PITTSBURGH TO MEET WITH STEELERS’ DEFENSE ON HOW TO STOP PEYTON MANNING; ARMEN KETEYIAN TALKS WITH COLTS ABOUT FINISHING 1-2 AFTER A 13-0 START; AND LESLEY VISSER SITS DOWN WITH CHICAGO QUARTERBACK REX GROSSMAN

Live Reports from Jim Nantz and Phil Simms from Denver; and Dick Enberg and Dan Dierdorf from Indianapolis; as well as Visser from site of NFC Playoff Game – Carolina at Chicago.

THE NFL ON CBS continues its coverage of the 2006 American Football Conference Playoffs with the Divisional Playoff games as the defending Super Bowl champions, AFC East champions and No. 4-seeded NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (11-6) take on the AFC West champions and No. 2-seeded DENVER BRONCOS (13-3) in prime time on Saturday, Jan. 14 (8:00 PM, ET); and the No. 6-seeded PITTSBURGH STEELERS (12-5) visit the AFC South champions and No. 1-seeded INDIANAPOLIS COLTS (14-2) on Sunday, Jan. 15 (1:00 PM, ET) live on the CBS Television Network.

Saturday night and Sunday afternoon’s action kicks off with THE NFL TODAY, the Network’s studio show (7:30 PM, ET and 12:00 Noon, ET; respectively), live from THE NFL TODAY studio at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City.

THE NFL TODAY on Saturday previews the New England-Denver game as Dan Marino sits down with Patriots quarterback and three-time Super Bowl champion, Tom Brady. Charlie Bloom produces. And former Bronco Shannon Sharpe returns to his old stomping grounds in Denver to feature the Broncos defense. Jeff St. Arromand produces.

Sunday’s NFL TODAY previews the Pittsburgh-Indianapolis game with features as Greg Gumbel sits down with members of the Pittsburgh Steelers to talk about their game plan in stopping Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning. Sarah Rinaldi produces. Armen Keteyian travels to Indianapolis to talk with members of the Colts about finishing up with a 1-2 record after a 13-0 start. Deb Gelman produces.

And Lesley Visser visits with Chicago quarterback Rex Grossman as a preview to the Bears hosting the Carolina Panthers in one of the NFC Divisional Playoff games. Deb Boulac produces.

Live reports on each game will be given on Saturday and Sunday with Jim Nantz and Phil Simms from Denver; and Dick Enberg and Dan Dierdorf from Indianapolis. Visser will report from Chicago on the Carolina-Chicago game.

Gumbel hosts THE NFL TODAY along with analysts Marino, Boomer Esiason and Sharpe, as well as reporters Visser and Keteyian.
