CBS SPORTS AND CSTV HUDDLE UP TO KICK OFF COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON WITH 2006 SEC FOOTBALL PREVIEW SHOW

CBS Sports and CSTV: College Sports Television team up to kick-off the college football season with the 2006 SEC FOOTBALL PREVIEW SHOW on Sunday, Aug. 27 (12:00 NOON-12:30 PM, ET). The half-hour special was produced by CSTV for CBS Sports.
The 2006 SEC FOOTBALL PREVIEW SHOW is hosted by CSTV’s Greg Amsinger, from the CSTV fieldhouse in New York City, with analysis provided by CBS Sports’ lead college football analyst Gary Danielson and CSTV’s football analyst Brian Jones. The program will preview the SEC’s Eastern and Western Divisions, analyze the Coaches’ Preseason All-SEC Selections, and provide the most updated SEC news and information, including scouting reports from around the conference by CSTV’s resident insider Brian Curtis.
Curtis also sits down for one-on-one interviews with the head coach of the University of Florida, Urban Meyer and South Carolina’s head coach Steve Spurrier. In addition, the program features the relationship between Preseason First Team All-SEC selections Kenny and David Irons, brothers from the University of Auburn. CSTV’s expert national recruiting analyst Tom Lemming focuses on the freshman players to watch this year in the SEC.
CBS Sports begins the sixth year of national coverage of Southeastern Conference (SEC) football on Saturday, Sept. 16 with a doubleheader featuring LSU battling Auburn (3:30-7:00 PM, ET), followed by a primetime match-up between Florida and Tennessee (8:00 PM, ET). Danielson will be joined in the both by play-by-play announcer Verne Lundquist and reporter Tracy Wolfson on the sidelines.
