Eric Mann has been the studio producer for the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship since 1991. He was named senior producer, CBS Sports, in 1997. Currently he serves as the Senior Producer for THE NFL TODAY, CBS Sports' pre-game, halftime and post-game studio show, after having served as associate producer/associate director and features producer from 1982-87 and producer from 1988-93.
Mann is a 14-time Emmy-Award winner, including the 1989 and 1992 Emmy Award for Best Studio Show. He also produced THE SUPER BOWL TODAY show for Super Bowls XXIV, XXVI, XXXV, XXXVIII and XLI (1990, 1992, 2001, 2004 and 2007). Mann has produced the primetime broadcasts for the 1994 and 1998 Olympic Winter Games and weekend daytime broadcasts for the 1992 Winter Olympics. He produced the Network's coverage of the Daytona 500 for five years (1995-97 and 1999-2000) and was associate producer and pit producer (1982-94).
Mann joined CBS Sports in 1981 as a broadcast associate and served as producer of CBS Sports' NBA programs, THE BASKETBALL SHOW and AT THE HALF (1987-90). He was named associate producer/associate director in 1983 and elevated to producer/director in 1987. Mann received a bachelor's and master's degrees from Northwestern University. Born May 2, 1958 in Chicago, he lives in New York City.
