Sideline Reporter


  • Marty Snider will serve as a sideline reporter for Turner and CBS' NCAA Division I Men's Championship coverage.
  • Snider also serves as a sideline reporter for TNT's NBA Playoffs coverage as well as periodically throughout the regular season. 2010 marks Snider's fifth year with the NBA on TNT crew.
  • He is also a pit reporter for TNT's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series coverage. This year marks his 13th season as a TNT NASCAR announcer, calling races for the network since 1998.
  • In 2007, Snider was awarded NASCAR.COM's Pit Reporter of the Year Award, as voted upon by the fans.

  • Snider recently served as a consultant on HBO's Jimmie Johnson24/7 series.
  • In 2008, Snider was a part of the NBC Summer Olympic team in Beijing, China as a reporter for numerous events including cycling, triathlon, BMX, canoe slalom, softball and the Olympics' closing ceremony.
  • Snider also works with NBC on their NFL Football Night in America, and as a pit reporter for NBC's racing shows.
  • From 1998 - 2002 Snider served as a reporter for CNN/Sports Illustrated NASCAR, filing regular reports from every NASCAR Cup Series event.
  • Since 1995 - 2000, Snider worked as a pit reporter for the Motor Racing Network's (MRN) NASCAR radio broadcasts. MRN is syndicated to more than 500 affiliate stations across the United States.
  • From 1994-97 he served as a reporter and associate producer for ESPN's NASCAR Today.
  • Snider previously served as a sports reporter for WYFF, the NBC affiliate in Greenville, S.C. from 1993-94. Prior to that, he worked for WGHP in Greensboro, N.C. (1991-93).
