Arizona State All-American Jahii Carson will be limited in practice for the next week because of a stress reaction in his right tibia, Carson told CBSSports.com on Monday.
"Shins are killin'," Carson texted CBSSports.com. "But everything else is fine."
A different source close to the Arizona State program told CBSSports.com that limiting Carson in practice is mostly a precautionary measure. Still, it's a notable development because it means the sophomore guard who averaged 18.5 points and 5.1 assists per game last season is the second member of CBSSports.com's preseason All-American teams to be sidelined to some degree this preseason. The other is Kentucky's Willie Cauley-Stein, a 7-foot forward who will miss up to two weeks with a hand injury.
