Bracketology: Michigan State, Pitt fall in latest bracket
Tough losses send Michigan State and Pitt down in today's bracket

Michigan State can't get healthy fast enough. In the meantime, the Spartans are playing hit-and-miss basketball, and they missed again Sunday in a loss at Michigan, which gave the Wolverines a sweep of the season series and first place alone in the Big Ten. Michigan State fell two lines, down to a No. 4 seed in this edition of the bracket.
Pittsburgh dropped a spot also after the Panthers suffered their first questionable loss of the season. Florida State went into the Oakland Zoo and came out a winner, knocking Pitt into the middle of the bracket and close to the bubble. The Seminoles got closer to the bubble as well, but are still just 9-11 against the top 200 teams in the RPI. Florida State needs to string a few more wins together.
SMU made a little move up after doing something for the first time this season. The Mustangs picked up their first tournament-quality win away from home by winning at Connecticut. They still have two pretty bad losses and a lousy nonconference schedule, but the Mustangs are starting to climb.
Arizona State got embarrassed at Utah on Sunday night, but at least for now, the Sun Devils remain in the middle of the bracket. Utah has a nice record, but only one win away from home all season. The Utes also have the 342nd-ranked nonconference schedule. Only seven teams have played worse nonconference schedules. It's going to take a lot to overcome that.
