Indiana freshman Cody Zeller and junior Christian Watford formally announced early Tuesday that they will pass on the 2012 NBA Draft and instead remain in college. The development should make IU a consensus preseason top-five team, perhaps No. 1 depending on what happens with Kentucky's roster.

Zeller and Watford combined to average 28.2 points and 12.4 rebounds per game this past season. Zeller developed into a legitimate All-American candidate while Watford is best known for hitting the game-winning shot against Kentucky in December. They were the top two scorers on IU's Sweet 16 team.

The deadline for underclassmen to enter the NBA Draft is April 29.
