Cody Zeller set to join Indiana teammate Victor Oladipo in draft
Indiana is about to lose its second underclassman in a span of two days.
Sophomore forward Cody Zeller will announce Wednesday afternoon that he, like junior guard Victor Oladipo, is entering the 2013 NBA Draft, sources confirmed to CBSSports.com. Both are projected top-10 picks, according to CBSSports.com.
Zeller and Oladipo led Indiana to an outight Big Ten title.
This development is not surprising, but it does ensure Tom Crean will enter next season without his top four scorers, four guys -- Zeller, Oladipo, Christian Watford and Jordan Hulls -- who combined to average 52.1 points and 23.0 rebounds per game. Still, the Hoosiers are ranked 23rd in the preseason Top 25 (and one) based on the return of Yogi Ferrell, Will Sheehey, Remy Abell, and the addition of another heralded recruiting class.
