Vegas likes Duke and Kentucky best. USATSI

Duke, Kentucky, Villanova, Kansas and Michigan State are the five most favored teams according to oddsmakers in Las Vegas-- as of now -- to win the 2016-17 national title.

We're in the midst of the dog days of college basketball's offseason, so let's take a moment to see how a lot of teams are lined up on Vegas' big boards. These are known as "future" bets, given you're betting on the future. Specifically, the future outcome of the national title game. So with a team like Indiana being 25/1, if you bet $100 on IU to take the 2016-17 crown, and then Tom Crean goes out and wins the whole thing, you'll be $2,500 dollars richer for taking the gamble.

Per Vegas Insider, which monitors action at the Las Vegas SuperBook and a few other big sportsbooks in Sin City, here's the latest look at how the odds align.
