Fairleigh Dickinson parts ways with Greg Vetrone
Greg Vetrone is out as head coach at Fairleigh Dickinson after four seasons. Vetrone confirmed the news to CBSSports on Tuesday.
Greg Vetrone told CBSSports.com he has been let go by Fairleigh Dickinson after four seasons.
Vetrone's Knights were 7-24 overall this season and 2-16 in NEC play. He took over as coach on an interim basis in 2009-10 and had the interim tag removed before the 2010 season.
FDU was 11-21 overall and 10-8 in his season as the interim, but he won just 15 total games over the past three seasons.
Don't be surprised if former Rutgers head coach Fred Hill, now an assistant at Northwestern, tries to get in the mix to replace Vetrone.
