The Tar Heels are 40 minutes away from returning to the national title game -- the place where their season ended in disappointing fashion a year ago. This North Carolina team is loaded with juniors and seniors, all of which were a part of that heartbreaking loss last season to Villanova. So there’s added motivation to avenge that loss and get back on top. Keep an eye on starting point guard Joel Berry II, who is dealing with ankle injuries. His status moving forward is cause for concern among Tar Heel nation.

For Oregon to even be in this spot is a mini-miracle. Well, maybe not a miracle. But not many thought Oregon would make it out of the Midwest Regional, which included Kansas and Louisville. The Ducks have proven everyone wrong, defeating Kansas last weekend in a de facto road game to send Dana Altman to his first Final Four appearance as a coach. The Ducks are dangerous with shooters across the floor and are playing as well as anyone in the country. Dillon Brooks, the Pac-12 player of the year, has been maybe the third-best player on the team throughout the tournament. It’s not an indictment on Brooks, but proof that Oregon’s engine is firing on all cylinders.
