Florida freshman Bradley Beal is leaving Gainesville after just one season.
According to sources, the 6-foot-3 Beal -- whose return would have made the Gators a Top five preseason team next season -- will announce his departure on Friday at a news conference at 10:30 a.m.
Beal averaged 14.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists this past season and, according to several NBA executives, will be a high lottery pick inn June's NBA Draft.
One NBA executive said that Beal could even be taken as high as second overall.
