Florida lands South Florida transfer John Egbunu
Florida picked up a quality big man for the 2015-16 season on Thursday morning.
Egbunu chose the Gators over Michigan State and Virginia Tech, while he also visited Georgetown and had Arizona interest before the Wildcats took Boston College transfer Ryan Anderson last week.
He will have three years of eligibility after sitting out the 2014-15 season. In his one season at South Florida, the 6-foot-10 center averaged 7.4 points and 6.2 rebounds.
Florida continues to get off to a great start in the 2015 recruiting class, as the Gators add Egbunu to four-star prospects KeVaughn Allen and Kevarrius Hayes.
