Former Nebraska head coach Doc Sadler joining Iowa State's staff
Doc Sadler confirmed to CBSSports.com on Friday that he's leaving his position as director of basketball operations at Kansas to join Fred Hoiberg's staff as a full-time assistant at Iowa State.
Hoiberg also confirmed the news.
"Doc's coming on board," Hoiberg texted CBSSports.com.
The development was first reported by Jason King.
Sadler is a former head coach at UTEP and Nebraska who spent last season working for Bill Self at Kansas. He's replacing T.J. Otzelberger, who left Iowa State to join Lorenzo Romar's staff at Washington.
