Fun video: Tennessee hoopsters play flag football
Anything that's good for team bonding, right? And the best news for Vols fans: Jeronne Maymon played and is on the way to being fully healthy.
The Volunteers' basketball team had a good bonding experience last weekend, organizing a game of 7-on-7 flag football. After watching the video, I want to round up some buddies and get a game going myself. Then I remember it's a broiler outside and I don't have easy access to an indoor football practice facility.
The most important thing to take away from this video for UT fans: Jeronne Maymon played. Maymon, the best rebounder and perhaps the best player for Tennessee appears to be on schedule for a return. He redshirted the 2012-13 after a left knee injury. Tennessee is expected to have its best season since the Bruce Pearl years.
Maymon was captain of one team and senior guard D'Montre Edwards the other. The final score: 28-20. Maymon's squad was victorious.
