Anthony Hickey, Malik Morgan and Shane Hammink are no longer LSU basketball players.

"These three players will not be a part of the LSU program next season," said LSU coach Johnny Jones. "We thank them for the contributions they made to the LSU basketball team and certainly wish them well in their future plans."

Hickey, a 5-foot-11 junior, started 85 games the past three years and averaged 31.1 minutes per contest last season. Morgan, a 6-4 sophomore, averaged 15.5 minutes last season while Hammink, a 6-7 sophomore, only averaged 5.8 minutes per game.

Next season will be Johnny Jones' third season at LSU.

The Tigers haven't made the NCAA Tournament since 2009.
