Hancock the latest Pitino player to have horse named in his honor

"Gorgui" came first. Then it was "Siva." Last summer, the unforgettable "Russdiculous." Now: "Three Point Luke."

Rick Pitino, for the fourth time in less than three years, will have one of his horses named after one of his players. The newest reference goes to Final Four MVP Luke Hancock, who has "Three Point Luke" dubbed in his honor.

Only not by Pitino. Dennis O'Neill, the horse trainer whom Pitino works with, took control on this one. Pitino discusses Saturday's Kentucky Derby in the video up top. It's a 2-year-old horse.

The former three horses are still active, and Russdiculous will actually be running at Churchill Downs on Wednesday.
