LOOK: Northwestern coach Chris Collins' impressive Wrigley Field trip
The NU coach is making a habit of annually stopping by the Cubs' place and working out his arm -- and his vocal chords.
It's great when the local coach is also a legitimate fan of the hometown team.
That's what the Chicago Cubs have with Northwestern's Chris Collins, who's from the area (Northbrook, Illinois). And over the weekend, for the second straight year, Collins stopped by Wrigley Field and had himself quite a day. His coaches and family got a nice tour of the digs, and Collins threw out the first pitch.
Talk about a 12-to-6. Nicely done, Chris.
With this pitch and the video up top, it kind of makes you want to hear another hometown Chicago guy, Mike Krzyzewski, take a crack at this one day.

Most importantly, the Cubs beat the Brew crew, 3-0. The team is now up to an impressive ... 15-27 record. (I'm a Cubs fan, in fact, and this is something of a dream for me.)
