Louisville-Temple, SMU-Rutgers postponed until Friday
Mother Nature wins again.
Louisville and Temple announced Thursday morning that the teams' scheduled Thursday night game in Philadelphia will be pushed back one day due to snow.
"Due to hazardous weather conditions, tonight’s University of Louisville men’s basketball game at Temple has been postponed," per the Louisville release. "The game has been rescheduled for Friday evening, February 14 at the Liacouras Center. The time will be determined later today. No further information is available at this time."
It's the latest game affected by a massive winter storm that's pounded nearly the entire East Coast over the past 24 hours. Eight games Wednesday night were postponed due to wintry/dangerous conditions, and this is the first of Thursday's tilts to get a pushback.
The American Athletic Conference also announced Thursday night's SMU game at Rutgers has been postponed until Friday night as well. As we get more info on any and all games postponed Thursday, we'll update them here.
