It's been an interesting spring for the Manhattan basketball program, but the Jaspers received some good news on Thursday.
Cincinnati transfer Jermaine Lawrence is heading to Manhattan, sources told CBSSports.com.
Lawrence chose the Jaspers over Hofstra and Iona.
Lawrence, a 6-foot-9 New York native, seemed to never find his role at Cincinnati. He played 15.0 minutes a game, but averaged just 2.8 points and 2.9 rebounds. The former five-star recruit also missed eight games with a toe injury.
