North Texas freshman Tony Mitchell is coming back to school.
Sources told CBSSports.com that Mitchell is expected to make an announcement on Monday night just prior to Tuesday's NCAA deadline to withdraw from the NBA Draft.
Mitchell, who initially signed with Missouri but did not qualify academically, averaged 14.7 points and 10.3 rebounds per game this past season for the Mean Green.
NBA executives told CBSSports.com that the 6-foot-8 forward was a likely first-rounder.
Mitchell missed the first nine games of the season and wasn't even allowed to practice until Dec. 17.
