PHOTO: Obama leaves surprise note for Maryland women's team
He's yet to see a women's game in person, so far as we can tell, but during his trip to the Comcast Center Tuesday, President Obama left a note for the Terps ladies.
It wasn't just Oregon State who benefited from the First Family's appearance at Maryland on Sunday.
As you can see, President Barack Obama made sure to sign a sign placed by the Terrapins' women's basketball team.
"Thanks, Terps, and good luck!" Obama scribbled on what appears to be the inside of a television cabinet somewhere inside the Comcast Center. That's some keepsake. Gotta figure it's getting unscrewed at some point and will soon be mounted to a wall for permanent keeping.
Maryland's women's team is currently 2-0 and ranked No. 8 in the AP poll.
