This is a drastic change. And we give credit to the big man for doing it.
Check out big Willie's style. I dig it. Never will I mock or moan characters in college hoops. The sport needs them, and it's nice to see the most polarizing and popular team in college basketball has one.
Kentucky sophomore starting center Willie Cauley-Stein (9.4 PPG, 7.8 RPG) has opted to drastically alter his hair. This was his follicle look of choice until the past 24 hours:
Now he's going for something totally different. Kentucky fans are probably irked that he went with yellow over something blue. But, hey, at least it's not red. How do I know Kentucky fans don't like the look? Cauley-Stein took to Twitter to defend himself.
Wow! lol just wow y'all worried about the wrong things haha we got a game tonight!— @TALST (@TrillGeta15) December 10, 2013
Cauley-Stein is a different kind of Cat, pun intended. And he's projected as a top-10 pick, you know. Not lacking in confidence -- that's a good thing. UK plays tonight at 9 p.m. against Boise State. Cauley-Stein's 'do should get much more run, then. Be you, big man. Be you.
