Pitt is still in the Top 25 (and one), but just barely after another loss

Pittsburgh is now 0-4 against the top 30 of the RPI and 18-0 against everybody else. So the Panthers are reliable even if they're unspectacular. And what do you do with a team like this?

They only lose to good teams.

But they always lose to good teams.

The fact that Pitt's four losses are to the schools ranked No. 1, No. 10, No. 11 and No. 20 in the Top 25 (and one) -- combined with the fact that the Panthers are are still a quality team according to relevant computer ratings -- is reason enough to keep Pitt in the Top 25 (and one), I guess. But it would be nice if Jamie Dixon's team would beat somebody better than Stanford, N.C. State and Clemson, at some point. My fingers are crossed for them.

Anyway ...

The Top 25 (and one) updates every morning and also on Sunday nights.
