Texas State hires Stephen F. Austin's Danny Kaspar
Danny Kaspar is headed from Stephen F. Austin to Texas State. Considered one of the best coaches in the country, Kaspar will join a program that will enter the Sun Belt next season.
Texas State has hired Danny Kaspar and will make an official announcement at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday.
Kaspar has been the head coach at Stephen F. Austin for the past 13 seasons and led the Lumberjacks to a 27-5 campaign and an NIT berth this past season.
Kaspar will replace Doug Davalos, who was fired after seven seasons and a 92-107 mark. Texas State is headed to the Sun Belt.
