UConn's Tyler Olander suspended indefinitely
Connecticut announced it had suspended senior big man Tyler Olander for a violation of team rules.
Connecticut senior Tyler Olander has been suspended indefinitely, the school announced Monday afternoon.
The release offered no details other than saying it was a violation of team rules. Multiple reports Monday afternoon stated Olander was arrested for DUI on Saturday night while also driving sans license.
Olander, a 6-foot-9 big from Mansfield, Conn., averaged 4.3 points and 3.7 rebounds last season. He was also arrested in March during a spring break trip to Panana City Beach, Fla.
Connecticut opens its season against Maryland on Nov. 8.
