VIDEO: Jabari Parker with a nasty reverse slam at Duke scrimmage
Hey, if we're going to update you with Andrew Wiggins goodies, we have to do the same for Parker -- who is quite awesome.
This was the loudest dunk of the weekend.
During Duke's Midnight Madness on Friday, Jabari parker casually corralled the ball off a rebound, spun around two of his teammates -- then reverse-slammed it home in the face of two more. Poor Marshall Plumlee was essentially a lamppost on the play.
What stands out about the move -- and I'm all too aware this is a glorified scrimmage, and the players were going at about 30 percent -- is how powerful it looks, yet Parker makes it seem casual.
Plenty of rightful pub has been tossed Andrew Wiggins' way at Kansas. And Julius Randle at Kentucky is another freshman considered in the running for the No. 1 pick in 2014's draft. It's not like we've forgotten about Parker, but it seems as though he was canceled out of No. 1 pick/best freshman talk some time ago. Let's reconsider that, and not merely because of the highlight above.
