VIDEO: Tom Izzo dancing on a ladder; yeah, that above covers it
Bless you, Tom.
Michigan State midnight madness festivities from over the years have proven that Tom Izzo will do just about anything, even if it puts his body in some sort of danger. And for no particular reason. Just ask him to play the role, and he's willing to in the name of good fun.
So here's one of the greatest coaches in the modern era doing a little jig on top of a Werner ladder. Werner is the company that sponsors the NCAA and has its steps brought onto the court when it's time to snip the nets. This is a "podium" ladder, specifically made for reasons like you see above: dancing.
This video is ridiculous. I'd love to know what the pitch was to Izzo. Of course he did it, regardless. And it's reason to root for Michigan State to get to another Final Four. Because if that happens, we'll all mandate Izzo recreate this boogie atop another ladder. So long as the team is there to catch him, let's do it.
