VIDEO: Traevon Jackson hits winning jumper to beat Michigan State
Traevon Jackson came up big once again for Wisconsin, hitting a jumper in the final seconds.
Traevon Jackson isn't known as one of the elite point guards in the country, or even one of the top 25 at his position. But he constantly finds ways to make plays at the end of games -- and he did it again to beat Wisconsin on Sunday.
After Adreian Payne drilled a 3-pointer to tie the game, Jackson came down the court and hit a pull-up jumper with 2.1 seconds remaining to give Wisconsin the lead. Travis Trice's half-court heave hit the rim and bounced away.
It was a huge win for Wisconsin, which had lost five of its previous six before beating Illinois and Michigan State this week. The Badgers are back above .500 in the Big Ten.
Jackson finished with seven points and eight assists.
