VIDEO: Wisconsin frosh Vitto Brown nails 'The Star-Spangled Banner'
The Badgers' big man of a freshman could arguably have a better voice than a basketball game. You must listen.
How about we have Vitto Brown sing the national anthem before every Wisconsin game for the rest of his career? Deal? Because this is one of the best versions of our country's anthem I've ever heard sung by an athlete. It might be the best.
And the best part? Brown is just a freshman, which means we could have four years of goosebump-generating anthems, should he choose to get behind the mic. Brown, a 6-8 power forward out of Bowling Green, Ohio, has a robust baritone voice, and he sings with subtlety, control, power, lilt -- and just nails this version of The Star-Spangled Banner. He did it over the weekend, just before the team's Red-White scrimmage.
I say we book him now for the Big Ten tournament as well, at the very least.
