Villanova expected to hire Hofstra's Kyle Neptune to fill opening
Villanova will hire Hofstra assistant coach Kyle Neptune to replace Billy Lange, according to sources.
Villanova head coach Jay Wright has moved quickly to replace assistant Billy Lange, who left over the weekend for a position with the Philadelphia 76ers as the assistant of player development.
Wright is expected to hire Hofstra assistant Kyle Neptune to fill the void on his staff, sources told CBSSports.com.
Neptune was the video coordinator under Wright from 2008-10, before heading to Niagara as an assistant coach. This past offseason, Neptune followed head coach Joe Mihalich when he left Niagara to become the head coach at Hofstra.
Once Neptune is officially hired, Villanova’s assistant coach trio will include Ashley Howard, Baker Dunleavy and Neptune.
