Led by UCLA's Lonzo Ball, the Ball brothers are dominating West Coast basketball attention.

Lonzo has emerged as the top player for the No. 2 Bruins and his UCLA-bound brothers are also making names for themselves. Still in high school, LaMelo is calling his shot Babe Ruth-style from halfcourt and LiAngelo's points per game average is off the charts.

It should be no surprise to anyone that the success of the Ball brothers comes as a result of hard work every day -- and that apparently includes Christmas.

SLAM magazine filmed the entire Ball family Christmas and at times it was just like any ordinary holiday celebration. The Balls got clothing (from a clothing company that their father created called Big Baller Brand), played dominoes, sat around and cut up with one another and even played a game of "H-o-r-s-e" like any normal family would do.

But it was the work they did that may separate them from many other ordinary humans.

Each Ball brother each got in a solid workout that included push-ups and pull-ups on an outside exercise area. And their father, LaVar, explained the reason why they did so -- that by getting extra work on Christmas Day, it allows them to get a jump on those who were taking the day off.

"We know everybody else takes a break, and when they take a break, we jump another step in front of them," he told SLAM magazine. "That allows us to be undefeated."
