The true freshmen of the Kentucky Wildcats were showing their teeth with an attitude early on against Cleveland State Wednesday, but they wound up getting bit back ... by the backboard!
It went like this: Malik Monk found his frosh teammate, De'Aaron Fox, early in transition with an acrobatic, off-the-backboard alley-oop. Fox did his part by flushing it down with authority.

In fact, Fox threw it down so hard ... he thumped his head on the backboard after coming down with his points.

Even after boinking his head, Fox kept on rolling and didn't miss a step. This is what you call one of those good problems, actually being up high enough to hit your head on the backboard.
