WATCH: Notre Dame's final play vs. Kentucky in Elite Eight loss
Jerian Grant got off a good look a three-pointer on the final play against Kentucky in a narrow loss in the Elite Eight.
Kentucky has survived arguably its toughest test of the 2015 NCAA tournament, beating Notre Dame 68-66 in the Elite Eight on Saturday night on two Andrew Harrison free throws with six seconds left to play.
Connaughton passed the ball in to Jerian Grant for the final play. Grant raced up the floor to the far corner of the floor before letting a three-point attempt fly before the horn. The shot missed the basket entirely, but it wasn't a bad look for Notre Dame's star guard.
In the replay, seen below, check out Willie Cauley-Stein marking Grant from coast-to-coast. Not a surprise one of the country's best defensive players, but still amazing to see in action.
