The Big Ten announced Tuesday evening its 10-person all-conference team as voted on by media that cover the league extensively.

Wisconsin senior Nigel Hayes has been tabbed as the league's preseason player of the year. He was the unanimous choice. Hayes averaged 15.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists for Bucky last season. He earned First Team honors in the Big Ten last March; Michigan State's Denzel Valentine won player of the year.
