2014 Big 12 Football Media Preseason Poll: Oklahoma on top
The Big 12 media has submitted its preseason poll for the Big 12, and the favorite to win is Oklahoma.
The college football media prognostication parade continues. Earlier Thursday the SEC media released its predicted order of finish in the SEC, and now the Big 12 has jumped in with the Big 12 media's preseason poll.
And there's nothing all that strange about what the Big 12 media is thinking. Not surprisingly, after taking care of Alabama in the Sugar Bowl last season, Oklahoma is picked to finish ahead of a Baylor team that lost to UCF in the Fiesta Bowl.
Here's the predicted order of finish, with first-place votes in parentheses.
1. Oklahoma (47) - 548 points
2. Baylor (9) - 508 points
3. Kansas State - 377 points
4. Texas - 376 points
5. Oklahoma State - 312 points
6. Texas Tech - 308 points
7. TCU - 297 points
8. West Virginia - 170 points
9. Iowa State - 121 points
10. Kansas - 63 points
