5Dimes posts win totals for 2014

2014 college football win totals
Duke's win total in 2014 is set at 8.5. (USATSI)

Over the weekend the calendar flipped from May to June. It's a rather significant flip, too, not just because it means summer is just about here, but because it means we're all that much closer to college football. But what to do to help pass the time until those first games kick off in late August?

Why gamble, of course. What else.

With that in mind, 5Dimes has posted the over/unders on win totals for most of your favorite college football teams. What does the online sportsbook think? Well, it thinks a lot like you do. Play it safe with the usual suspects.

Alabama +/- 10.5

Auburn +/- 9.5

Baylor +/- 9.5

BYU +/- 8.5

Michigan +/- 7.5

Michigan State +/- 9.5

Mississippi +/- 7.5

Missouri +/- 9.5

Nebraska +/- 7.5

Washington State +/- 5.5

West Virginia +/- 5.5

Wisconsin +/- 9.5

So we now live in a world in which bookmakers expect Duke to win more football games than Florida, Michigan, Nebraska and Texas A&M. Oh, and before you ask, I don't know for sure why the defending champs aren't listed, but I'd bet it has something to do with Jameis Winston.

Likely waiting to find out if there will be some kind of suspension before coming up with a total.
