Alabama overtakes Florida State as Bovada's national title favorite
The Bovada Sportsbook has moved Alabama up again in its national championship odds, making the Crimson Tide the new favorite.
Last month, Alabama joined Florida State as co-favorites to win the 2014-15 national championship, according to Bovada. Both schools were then listed 11/2 on the board, but updated odds -- pointed out by Adam Kramer, BamaOnline247 and others -- were posted recently and show the Crimson Tide as the new favorite at 5/1.
Ohio State (12/1 to 10/1), Georgia (18/1 to 14/1) and South Carolina (33/1 to 28/1) moved up the board a little while LSU (20/1 to 22/1) had a minor adjustment in the other direction. Not too much to read from any of it, really. Once the season is underway it won't take long for this list to dwindle to a reasonable list of contenders.
