TCU and Cal have agreed to a home-and-home series for 2020-21, according to sources.
TCU gets the first home game. An announcement could come some time this week.
The Horned Frogs sought out a California school because it has a large booster base in the state, strengthened by TCU's memorable 2010 Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin. Cal also has a future home-and-home with Texas, while TCU has agreements with Minnesota, Arkansas and Ohio State.
Despite Cal's combined four wins the last two years, TCU can consider this a decent strength-of-schedule agreement because the Bears were an upper-tier program for much of the 2000s.
