Bowden, Miles, Meyer tweet 'Welcome home' to LeBron
Ohio native Les Miles and current Ohio-based coach Terry Bowden wecolmed LeBron James home on Twitter Friday.
There's a lot to talk about in the sports world this Friday, what with the World Cup final two days away, Clayton Kershaw's scoreless-innings streak ending at 41 Thursday night, the Thorpe Award watch list going public (finally!) and, uh, something else ... something we're forgetting ... oh, right, LeBron James. That whole thing.
James' return to the Cavaliers and his native Cleveland area has been a subject of celebration for virtually any Ohioan with a Twitter account, and current Akron coach Terry Bowden -- despite his Deep South roots -- was no exception:
LSU 's Les Miles is an Ohio native, having been born in Elyria, and had his own message of greeting for a man he's long been known to have a personal interest in:
From one Ohio native to another, welcome home @KingJames. LM— Les Miles (@LSUCoachMiles) July 11, 2014
But as of yet, the coach of the college football team with the widest Venn diagram overlap with the Cavalier fanbase has yet to weigh in, with his last tweet now 17 hours in the past and counting. Why, it's almost like Urban Meyer is out busy doing something football-related. Psssh.
