ECU DE Terrell Stanley upgraded to good condition after car accident

Some good news comes out of Greenville, N.C. on Monday, with East Carolina confirming that defensive end Terrell Stanley has been upgraded to good condition after being seriously injured in an automobile accident on Feb. 12.

Stanley was in critical condition following a single-vehicle accident in which offensive lineman Issac Harris as a passenger. Both players were on their way to ECU from their off-campus residence. 

"Those who know Terrell fully understand he is a warrior with a relentless and passionate approach to life, both on and off the field," head coach Ruffin McNeill said in a school release. "I can speak for our entire Pirate family in extending our deepest gratitude for everyone who has Terrell in their thoughts and prayers."

Stanley was a starter in 12 games for ECU in 2013, his sophomore season, finishing second on the team with seven sacks and third in tackles for loss (10).
