Florida freshman DB Jalen Tabor cited for marijuana possession
Court records show that 5-star recruit Jalen Tabor was cited for marijuana possession on May 27 and entered a deferred prosecution agreement on June 3.
Citing a Gainesville Police Department incident report, 247Sports' Thomas Goldkamp writes that Tabor was cited for possession of "less than 20 grams" of marijuana on May 27. On June 3, Tabor entered a deferred prosecution agreement for the misdemeanor charge.
Tabor was one of three players, along with Brian Poole and Duke Dawson, mentioned by Will Muschamp as potential contributors opposite Vernon Hargreaves in the Gators defensive backfield. Muschamp did not address Tabor's incident at SEC Media Days, and this news broke after his availability was complete.
