Former Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino sells house at $550,000 loss

Bobby Petrino's Fayetteville mansion - listed at $2.5 million - has sold, according to a warranty deed filed Monday in the Washington County Circuit Clerk's office.
The Arkansas Business Journal reports that Petrino and his wife, Becky, bought the 8,741-square-foot home in March 2008 for $2.25 million. After two years of being on the market, the Petrinos finally sold their mansion for $1.7 million.
The Eye On College Football resident real estate expert Tom Fornelli suggested lowballing on the $2.5 million listing. Whether or not the buyers - Gary and Janet Anderson, of West Fork, for those interested - used that advice in the negotiations is unknown.
