Former Texas running back Joe Bergeron has found a new home.
Bergeron has enrolled at Texas A&M-Commerce after being dismissed from Texas for undisclosed rules violations in late July. School spokesman Kevin Young told the Associated Press that Bergeron will be eligible to play this fall since it's a Division II school.
Bergeron has one year of eligibility remaining and chose Texas A&M-Commerce because it's only 60 miles northeast of his home in Dallas.
In his three seasons with the Longhorns Bergeron rushed for 1,392 yards and 25 touchdowns.
