Fresno State dismisses two from team
Two Bulldog players dismissed following rules violations.
Fresno State wide receiver Victor Dean and defensive back Davon Dunn have been dismissed from the football team for violations of athletic department policy, athletic director Thomas Boeh announced on Tuesday.
The two sophomores were informed of their dismissal on Monday morning.
Dean was the fourth-leading receiver for the Bulldogs in 2012, catching 30 passes for 389 yards and two scores. Dunn had 15 tackles as a reserve defensive back and also contributed on special teams.
Neither player was listed on the Fresno State two-deep following spring practice.
